Create BPMN Collaboration Maps
- The Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is a graphical specification language in business informatics and process management.
- It provides numerous symbols for technical, method and IT specialists to model and document business processes and workflows.
- This is a comparatively recent method (published in 2004).
- The notation used in M-Files Process Maps is BPMN in version 2.1 (2011) and later standardized by ISO.
Symbol Overview
In its basic form, BPMN consists of the activity (task), events (event), and decisions (gateway), as well as numerous specializations (over 100 symbols in total).
