Create Anchors and Viewports

The idea is that you can create multiple drawings on an unlimited canvas. All drawings within your map - you could call them sections or sub-maps - are available to be navigated to. The core function is to zoom into a viewport when you click on the anchor.

Jump within a Map - Anchors and Viewports

The easiest way to define anchors and viewports and thereby create jumps within a map is described here.
Since the distance between an anchor and the viewport can be quite far, the previously described drag & drop mechanism can be difficult. The alternative method is to give viewports a name and then manually create a jump command and select the 'named viewport' in the command dialog box.

Jump from Map to Map

The central functionality to create a “woven net” of maps, is the jump from one map to another. There are two methods to define these jumps. You can either start with the target where to jump to (Drag&Drop method) or you can start with a shape or symbol as a trigger element pointing to a manually selected target

Resize the Default View

The default viewport, which is indicated with the magenta star in the upper left, is aligned with the initial preview either by length or width. The idea is, to ensure that all content within the magenta viewport is shown. However, as a result, you will receive a scrollbar to show the rest of the map.
